Taking up the entire handrail on the metro and leaving no room for others is a common form of rude behaviour on public transport. Here, it becomes a “mono pole dance” performance, absurdly exaggerating the way some people monopolise a space meant to be shared by everyone, while highlighting that real talent is leaving room for the others. The video was conceived as a music video, with particular attention paid to styling, performance and cinematography. I also composed the soundtrack.
